One of West London’s best loved home grown talents Si Kurrage is a dedicated vinyl junkie.
Working firstly for the original rave organization “World Dance” and “AWOL” (1992-99) and then “Milk and 2 Sugars” (1997-2002), Kurrage earned his stripes with some of the most legendary DJ’s in the business. In the past years Simon enjoyed being production manager and a resident Dj at the hugely successful “Mulletover”, “Canal Party”, “Eastern Electrics” events which helped reinvented the ware house experience for many in London…
Along the way Kurrage has amassed a close network of London based Djs and promoters, he is co founder of the famous “Size Doesn’t Matter” seven inch only night,(With Mr Shiver, Dj Dementia, Mastomic and Dj Thor), Disco King of the sultry and ever so slightly saucy “Aphrodisiacs” and a firm regular at the “Muse Parties”, “The Notting Hill Carnival” and regularly supports and Djs for Stuart Patterson at the Notorious “Date” and “Giant” parties .
Recent excursions and residencies have included regular sets at “Up On the Roof” (7th year running) warming up for the likes of Norman Jay, Scratch perverts, Dj Yoda, Neenah Cherry, Grandmaster Flash and the most excellent carnival kings Sancho Panza.
